We set no cookies for advertising. For the current visit only, we also remember the page to return to after logging in. This information is required for operation and does not leave your browser, except for the login token, which is sent with every request.
Recipients
The platform and its database run on a server rented from Hetzner Online GmbH, Industriestr. 25, 91710 Gunzenhausen, Germany, in a Hetzner data centre in the EU. We have data processing agreements with our providers under Art. 28 GDPR. Any transfer to third countries takes place only where the conditions of Art. 44 et seq. GDPR are met.
We send emails through Resend (Resend, Inc., USA), which receives your email address and the content of the email for delivery.
We obtain the prices for trading and settlement from an external source. No personal data of our users is transmitted in the process. That request is made by our server, not by your browser.
The charts are an embedded widget from TradingView (TradingView, Inc., USA). The chart is only loaded after you click Load chart, until then your browser makes no request to TradingView. Once loaded, your browser fetches it directly from TradingView, which receives your IP address and browser details in the process and may set cookies, including for advertising. The legal basis is your consent, Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR and Section 25 TDDDG. Your consent stays in effect until you revoke it, which you can do at any time under Preferences in your account, the TradingView chart row there has a Revoke consent button.
Publicly visible data
Username, rating, placements and round results are visible to other users. That is part of the contest. Your email address is not.
Retention period
We store account data as long as the account exists. After deletion we remove it, unless statutory retention obligations apply. Bookkeeping data is retained where required to keep completed rounds traceable. It is decoupled from the person as far as possible. Server logs are kept only as long as necessary for security and stable operation and are then deleted regularly.
Your rights
You have the right to access (Art. 15), rectification (Art. 16), erasure (Art. 17), restriction of processing (Art. 18), data portability (Art. 20) and to object to processing based on legitimate interests (Art. 21). You can withdraw any consent given at any time with effect for the future.
